This country property in the hills close to Pizarra boasts the most fantastic views.
The driveway meanders through mature tress and gardens to the property at the top of the hill. You are immediately wowed by the grandeur of the property and beautifully tended gardens. The separate one bedroom finca is the first building that you come to. This charming finca feels very private and again has the most fantastic views.
The main house looks very impressive on arrival, you are immediately drawn to the large terrace that runs along the front of the property and the panoramic views. The entrance hall to the property is currently used as an office but would also make a stunning opulent entrance hall. One of the two staircases leads from this room.
The lounge is especially large and has several seating areas including the ´piano room´ which is also open plan. The lounge has long windows to the front of the property making this room light and airy.
The dining room is currently separate but could be included into the kitchen. Access to the rear of the property is via the kitchen.
A large impressive feature staircase leads from the lounge area. The ceilings are high giving this area a great sense of space and luxury. Upstairs there are four spacious bedrooms, the master with an ensuite. The staircase for the master suite leads down to the entrance hall.
The pool area is elevated to the rear of the property with loads of terrace for bathing, relaxing and bbqing.
Pizarra is a charming, small village located along the local railway line between Málaga and Alora.
Surrounded with beautiful nature and rich irrigated lowlands with citrus and other fruit trees, it is perfect for outdoor lovers.
The village has many restaurants and bars where you can enjoy local food, drinks and a typical Andalusian night out. The village also has an interesting Municipal Museum, which was created to exhibit the collection of the famous American painter Gino Hollander, who lived in the area for many years.
20 km. North of Pizarra, you find El Chorro and the famous ‘El Caminito del Rey'. This is a walkway pinned along the steep walls of a narrow cliff. It used to be the most dangerous walkway of the world, but after years of extensive repairs and renovations it is now one of the most popular tourist attractions of the area.
Pizarra is only a 30 minutes (35 km.) drive from Málaga, the airport and the beaches of the Costa del Sol and offers the best of both worlds.
