The reception lounge sits in the centre of the property with a large feature fireplace providing the winter heat. The dining room leads directly from the lounge, overlooking the pool area with fantastic views of the mountains. This is perfect spot to dine. The reception is to the left of the lounge. Access to the commercial kitchen is from the reception area, there is also a separate entrance from the driveway to the kitchen and storage rooms. The owners accommodation also has separate access and is private from the main B&B business. The owner accommodation consists of an office, lounge-diner, bedroom and the bathroom. The guest rooms have all been designed with thought and give you real sense and feel that you are staying a spanish cortijo. The main suite is especially lovely with private patio over looking the pool area and direct access to the pool. The Moroccan styled bathroom is the main feature of this room with a sunken Jacuzzi bath, this room defiantly feels luxurious. There are five other guest bedrooms or differing sizes, all have private terraces and furnished in a traditional style. The bathing area feel private and secluded and has the most fantastic open views of the Guadalhorce Valley, surrounded by Mediterranean sub tropical planting. Guest parking is to the rear of the property. Cártama is situated at the heart of the Guadalhorce valley, at the front of two small sierras and surrounded by thousands of citrus trees. It is one of the most extensive towns in the province and being close (17 km.) to the city of Málaga, the airport and the coast, it is a popular location! The village is divided into different communities: Cártama Pueblo, the old town, and Estación de Cártama, which is home to the railway station. The A-357 crosses in the middle. Both places have a vibrant centre, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants! Estación de Cártama not only links the village to the lively city centre of Málaga within 15 minutes, it is also a more and more upcoming leisure area. Cártama is only 15 minutes (16 km) from the city of Málaga and the airport. The beaches of the Costa del Sol (Torremolinos) are a 20 minute (20 km) drive away.
